I’m really very sorry to say that `if You have a website or blog running on internet and you won’t create it’s backup regularly then you will be f_cked up any time`. This will be your biggest mistake if you are not aware of making backup of your blog and I bet You don’t have any Backup of your website.
It is really very important to have backup of blog for every blogger. Afterall you never know when your hosting server will go down or crash or sometimes even after having all security yourwebsite got hacked. Remember if any of these thing happen to you and you won’t have backup then you have to do all work from starting point, and it’s not easy at all.
I personally have faced these problem many times but luckily I make backups in a regular interval so I never have to worry about these issues, I just need to upload backup file into cPanel and it’s done, now if you are thinking – How to make backup of my blog, then here is your answer.

How to make Backup of WordPress website

Don’t worry it is very easy to create and download backup of WordPress website, To create full backup of website you just have to follow these simple steps..
1. Log in to your cPanel Account.
2. Click on Backup Wizard in Files Section.

3. Click on Backup —>

4. Click on Full Backup —>

5. Keep the Backup Destination : Home Directory, because it is easy to download backup file from there, now  enter your working email Address so that cPanel notify you about completion of backup through mail because it take sometime to generate Backup. Now Click on Generate backup.

6. Your backup is in process in just few minutes it will be completed, time depends on speed of Internet and size of backup. After you got a completion notification just go to cPanel Home again and click on Backups.

7. Finally click on Home Directory button in front of you at left side. Download only Home directory & MySQL Database files. Download Email backup only if you have important mail there.

Don’t worry about Partial Backups written above Home Directory button, you click on Home Directory to download backup, yes it is partial backup but believe me it’s enough for restoring your all content. Full Backup is only needed at the time of changing your hosting company.
