Sony has finally announced the PlayStation 4 Release Date, specifications and features at its Play Station Meeting 2013 event which was held in New York on February 20, 2013. For replacing popular PlayStation 3, the new generation gaming console PlayStation 4 is coming with a new user interface and so many exciting features. Sony announced the PlayStation 4 Release Date and features without showing the actual PS4 gaming console, not even the image of PS4. Sony has unveiled most of the features and hardware specifications of PlayStation 4 at the event.
PlayStation 4 Eye- PlayStation 4 Eye is the new feature announced by Sony which is similar to Microsoft Kinect. PS4 is coming with PlayStation 4 Eye feature which contains a newly developed camera system of 1280×800 Pixels which is capable of tracking the movements of user’s body and their voice to play games. Users are able to login with facial recognition.

PS4 is coming with AMD x86-based 8-core CPU having processing speed of 1.8 teraFLOPS and Supercharged PC Architecture based GPU. Sony PlayStation 4 is expected to have 4K Resolution/Ultra HD Video and supports Blu-Ray, DVD and HDMI output. PS4 is coming with 8GB GDDR5 RAM which helps the console to open instantly. It’s rumored that PS4 is not compatible for old games. Sony Said- “A new application from SCE called “PlayStation App” will enable iPhone, iPad, and Android based SmartPhones and tablets to become second screens”
