Change Your iPhone’s carrier logo without jailbreaking on Windows

On Tuesday we showed how it's now possible to change your carrier logo on your iPhone or cellular iPad without the need to a jailbreak, thanks to the new application CarrierEditor. Unfortunately the application was only for Mac OS X, and came with no word on whether we'd see a Windows version. Well, the wait is over; developer Dany Lisiansky has taken it upon himself to bring this awesome hack to you Windows users. Head inside for the full how to!

If you took a look at our CarrierEditor guide for Mac, you'll be happy to know that the CustomCarrierLogo hack for Windows is just as simple. Just follow these eight simple steps!

Note: CustomCarrierLogo doesn't come with any Zeppelin logos. I advise you to download the Mac application CarrierEditor and take the logos found in the ZeppelinLogos folder.
1. Download the CustomCarrierLogo app
2. Go to your iPhone or iPad to find your carrier version (Settings > General > About > Carrier)
3. Run CustomCarrierLogo and click Let's Get Started
4. Copy your carrier version (i.e. 13.3) into the Current Carrier Version field
5. Select your device and carrier in the drop down menus labeled as such
6. It's now time to choose the custom logo you want to use. Unlike the Mac application, you also have the option to use a text-based logo. To choose an image, check the Logo From File option and click Browse to the directory your images are located; upload them to their respective fields (Black/White Logo and Etched Logo). If you want a text-baed logo, simply check the Logo From Text option, type your text in the provided space, choose font and color.
7. At the bottom of the Application, click Create IPCC Carrier Bundle
You'll now see two .ipcc files on your Desktop; one with your new custom carrier bundle and one original carrier bundle for reverting back. Now lets get that new logo on your device.
8. Connect your iDevice to your computer and open iTunes; click on your device so it shows the device summary. Hold the Shift button down and click Restore on the iTunes page. You'll now be prompted to chose a file, select iPhone/iPad Carrier Configuration in the drop down menu, then select your custom .ipcc file.
Your carrier settings will now be updated, after it's done take a look at your device and smile at your custom logo. If you want to revert back to the original carrier branding, just redo step 8 and select the original carrier .ipcc file and reboot.
